1 of 4 prize packages featuring a double pass to the exhibition, the exhibition catalogue Lyonel Feininger: At the Edge of the World and the official exhibition poster.
This is the first major North American retrospective devoted to Lyonel Feininger (1871-1956), a multidisciplinary American artist who became one of the leading figures of German Expressionism and the Bauhaus. Music is at the heart of the exhibition, to reflect its importance for Feininger, who was also a talented musician and composer. This exclusive Canadian presentation features 350 works: paintings, watercolours, woodcuts, satirical cartoons, photographs, emblematic depictions of carnival scenes and architectural landscapes, as well as playful sculptures.
