A Bored 40ish accountant (Gere) is having a slight midlife crisis. Looking up from the window of the train he rides everyday he catches a glimpse of a sad but beautiful woman (Lopez) staring out of the window of a dance studio. Signing up for dance lessons as a way to get closer to this mysterious woman he finds instead a love of dance and the happiness he was missing. The best thing that can be said about this movie is that it is not anywhere near as bad as one could imagine. There are some good performances here, especially from the always amazing Sarandon, and this is Lopez’s best role since “Out Of Sight.”
