On record number three, the North Carolina duo of Beth Tacular and Phil Moore, better known to you and me as Bowerbirds, dust off their denim and dresses for another gorgeous and sparse stroll down empty back lots and abandoned country fields. Their sound intersects this time and place, rural and urban, an orchestrated pop music equally influenced by acoustic folk/country jams as it is by rousing city melodies. Their two stunning voices sing as one or alone, meticulously constructing each personal song before they’re brought to their trusted crew of outside players to bring them to life, flesh them out, make them real.
