Oscars 2012: the winners

Hosted by Billy Crystal, the 84th Academy Awards ceremony took place on Sunday, February 26. Two tributes to the silent era, The Artist and Hugo, were the big winners, with 5 Oscars each.

Canadian nominee Monsieur Lazhar from Philippe Falardeau didn’t win in the Best Foreign Language Film category; neither did NFB productions Dimanche and Wild Life in the Best Animated Short one. We’re sure they’re still honoured to have been nominated!
