It’s already been four years since the release of Creature’s debut album. While the wait for their full-length follow-up continues, here’s a brief but very enjoyable entremets in the form of a six-track EP. Built around their current single, the super-catchy, ’80s new waveish So High, and potent remixes of it by Cherry Cherry Boom Boom, Tom Buster and FM Radio Gods, No More Pretending also features the Prince-style, guitar-driven Crybaby, as well as Duet, which has Lisa Iwanycki and Kim Ho singing about a most dysfunctional relationship over layers of synths.
