You think you know everything about metal god John Michael Osbourne, but in fact you’ve only met Ozzy, his on- and off-stage persona. Yeah, Black Sabbath’s first frontman is a wild one. We all know about the infamous bat decapitation (the dove too, right?) and his substance abuse. Everybody – him included – is pretty surprised he’s still alive. A little while after he sobered up, his son Jack decided to produce a documentary film about the Iron Man. From his childhood (in a little English town called Aston) to his latest world tour, we learn more about the bloke that many laughed at when his reality TV show aired in the early 2000s. In 90 minutes, this very honest film says it all. The Prince of fuckin’ Darkness lives. Respect.

God Bless Ozzy Osbourne
A film by Mike Fleiss & Mike Piscitelli
