Exofruits is the kind of independent grocery store anyone would love to have nearby. Packed to the rafters with all the basics, plus loads of fresh produce (a fair bit of organic), a good cheese selection, bulk nuts, organic flours and a variety of the kinds of things customers will be happy to stumble upon. For instance, in the past I’ve gone there hunting for Sharwood’s curry paste, one of their many interesting sauces. This time I was oddly tempted by a kilogram packet of date paste, but I was happier to stumble across some palatable gluten-free bread. And for some mysterious but comforting reason, Exofruits carries about two dozen different kinds of cocoa powder.
