Yea! We made it back to Satay Brothers. As it turned out it was the last day. Mama Kim told us it was getting too cold so people are not turning up.
The satay shrimp & satay pork are as good as ever. We had bun & Pork-belly. Two kinds of veggies and two kinds of desserts. Everything was yummy.
So goodbye for now. We will meet at Satay Brothers again.

Our party of four drove all the way from Burlington, VT to Satay Brothers in Montreal and had a fabulous lunch last Saturday. The meal brought tears to my eyes not only because it reminded me of Singapore but also because the delicious spicy taste was just right. Hot stuff! Hot enough to cry over. Everyone enjoyed every dish we had and we had just about everything except the papaya salad and a few other dishes. We'll be back! You bet.
Congratulations to our dear friends the Winnicki family for such a successful venture of Singapore eatery.

I just brought back some of their sambal which was house-made from Satay Brothers. I gave a dab to one of my ex-Singaporean friends who said"this is the real thing. It's like how my mum makes her sambal , with shrimp paste. This is actually a great sambal balacan."
