Misty Medley

Disc review

It feels good but you don’t know why. Maybe it’s the New Order beats and cadence. They always do it. Or maybe the wispy-kitten Blonde Redhead vocals. They are very cuddly. It could be the Eddie Vedder track. Pearl Jam has a way of hitting emotional chords you don’t even know you have, so there’s that. The thing is, you care. Because it matters. Because this full-length by Montreal’s pop-come-latelies is one of the most graceful and unaffectedly charming little records you’ve heard in a while. And you like it.
