Freshbread (a.k.a. my man Starbuck from SNFU) has been putting in his work for years as the man they call Freshbread in Van-City. This is not your average hip-hop record; basically, if you own more than five "lumberjackets," two backpacks and skate to Unkle Cracker, you will love this. Some of the tracks like Big Boss Battle and Smoke Signals remind me of early Beck, but with better production. This is not my bag by any stretch, but for what it is, it’s well done, and if this became wildly popular with kids in Halifax, it would not surprise me in the least. (Pat Wreck)
